Junior Michael Gale is one of the top runners on the men's track team. Gale majors in education as he commutes to SFC every day from Staten Island, which is not only a place he calls home, but also where his running career began.

St. Francis College women's cross country freshman Chantalle Blundell was named Northeast Conference Rookie of the Week, as announced by the Conference in their weekly release on Tuesday morning.  For Blundell, it is her first honor.

The men's cross country team placed fourth out of 12 squads at the Lafayette Invitational on Saturday morning.  Paul Gilhuley turned in a top-20 performance by placing 19th with a time of 26:04.67.

Super freshman Chantalle Blundell continued her impressive initial season by placing 19th at the Lafayette Invitational.  Blundell covered the 6k course in 22:16.01.  The Terriers placed 11th of 13 teams overall.
